It’s no use talking about reducing our waste on land if we’re still polluting our oceans with harmful chemicals. Check with your airline if you are only bringing hand luggage as you may have the knife confiscated. But the most sustainable thing you can buy is nothing! Bring a set of your own cutlery from home, including a knife, fork and spoon and you can add a metal straw and reusable chopsticks if you have them. These will be more durable than bamboo or plastic ones, are easy to clean and saves you a little bit of money too!
